The university is committed to providing a safe and secure working and learning environment, consistent with obligations under the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (Clery Act). The Clery Act requires colleges and universities participating in federal financial aid programs to comply with numerous and varied requirements achieved through enterprise-wide coordination.

The university is committed to promoting the safety and well-being of youth; the Office of Youth Protection supports the campus community by providing safeguards for the protection and supervision of non-enrolled minors participating in university programs and activities.
