University Policies

University policies are a key element of an effective compliance system. University policies cover an array of subjects and:
- have university-wide applicability;
- promote operational efficiencies;
- mitigate institutional risk;
- ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and ABOR policies;
- and/or promote and safeguard the university's purpose, mission, and values.
Individual colleges, departments and units may adopt policies, procedures, or protocols, which may be more limited in scope or application, but which must be consistent with overarching university policies.
University policies related to personal and professional conduct can be found in the Ethics and Conduct category on the policy webpage.
